.....::::: LIVE LIKE JESUS CHRIST :::::.....

Some of us see Jesus as what He truly is; God, the human representation of God on earth and even their personal Savior. But what if I told you that this God was at the same time a Man but a humble one at that? He was willing to give up His rights in order to obey God and serve people. Like Christ, we should adopt a servant-like attitude, serving out of love for God and others. But my question is when did it become about US? We often turn a blind eye to our very own selfishness, pride, or evil by claiming they are our "rights". For example, some think they can cheat on a test because they deserve to pass, or spend all their money because they worked hard for it. Or even worse, get an abortion because they have the right to control their own body. FALSE! If we say we are disciples of Jesus Christ, we must also say we want to live like Him! Are you selfishly clinging to your rights, or are you willing to serve? You have the choice: approach life expecting to be served or look for opportunities to serve others. Please let that sink in....
Philippians 2:3-7 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness."

Pride is such a nasty emotion. Believe me, I can tell you. Pride can keep older people from attempting to understand the youth and it can keep the younger generation from listening to the teachings and advice of the older generation. In the Bible, Peter tells us to be humble and serve one another. The young should follow the leadership of the older generation; who should lead by example. We should respect those who have more experience than us and be humble enough to admit that we can learn from each other. Pride can even lead us to stress about our positions or status. For example in a church or at work. We often want the recognition for what we do. God's recognition counts more than human praise. Humbly obey God regardless of the circumstances, and in His good time, whether it on earth or in heaven, He will lift you up. Please let that sink in...
1 Peter 5:5-7 "In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”    Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

.....::::: P.R.I.D.E II :::::.....

Ever believe that where you are now, you got there because of your own effort? Ever believe that you accomplished something because of your talents? No one can claim to be adequate without God's help. No one can do the things God has in store for us on his or her own. Without the Holy Spirit, we and our talents can only go so far...We need to learn to humble ourselves. We need to stop comparing ourselves as well. When we compare ourselves with others, we begin to feel pride because we eventually begin to think that we are better than them. But if we actually took the time to compare ourselves to God's standards, we would realize how useless pride is. Stop looking to others or comparing, you are unique. If you don't see where God is bringing you, be calm and stay humble. Serve. It is when you serve that you realize what being served is like. Please let that sink in...
2 Corinthians 3:5 - "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God."
2 Corinthians 10:12 - "We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise."

People Rush Into Destruction Eventually. Pride is to have inordinate self-esteem. Full of ones self. Conceited. A lot of us lack the discernment to truly realize that we have pride in us. Some people try and give the appearance of humility in order to manipulate others. PRIDE does not mean to put yourself down. All Now the question you must ask yourself is: "How can I humble myself?" Truly humble people compare themselves only with Jesus Christ, realize their sinfulness, and understand their limitations. Humility is a realistic assessment and commitment to serve. What happens to those who let PRIDE take over? Hmmmm just ask Lucifer (Satan). When you truly understand that this life is not yours and that you are lent time on earth, it humbles you. Please let that sink in...
Luke 14:11 - "For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

.....::::: GENUINE HUMILITY > SELFISH AMBITION :::::.....

Of course when you think of love you think of Christ but what about humility? This man (and God at the same time) embodied humility to His core. How are you imitating Christ's humility? A lot of us only live to make a good impression of ourselves for others. But caring about yourself all the time is troublesome. In the Bible, Jesus washed His disciples feet...yeah...He did that! We must serve others. He who was God, brought Himself and made Himself a servant. Thats what love is all about! In love there is no "I" or "me". It's "we" or better yet "you". Considering others' interests as more important than our own links us to Christ l, who was a true example of humility. We should have a servant's attitude, serving out of love for God and for others. God is so cool that He even gives you the choice. You can approach life expecting to be served, or you can look for opportunities to serve others. Please let that sink in...
