.....::::: BAD INFLUENCE AND BAD COMPANY :::::.....

To influence is to have an effect on the character or behaviour of someone or something, or the effect itself. Whether you are a Christian or not, we have all been in a similar position at least once in our lives. For example, someone you know influences you into something that compromises your Christian faith. If the source of influence causes you to distance from God with that moment, stop. Reevaluate the situation and run the other way. Literally! There are so many examples! We all have friends or that one friend that loves to gossip. Run the other way. That friend that isn't faithful? Run the other way. One bad fruit can cause others to be wasted as well. But we mustn't take this out of context either. We shouldn't put the blame only on the other person. We too are at fault. But I am here to tell you that God knows these things even before you do them. His very Word warns us about things of this nature. The Bible can change your life. You just have to read it. Let it influence you. Have a blessed day and be a positive influence!
1 Corinthians 15:33 - "Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

.....::::: ATTITUDE 101 :::::.....

An attitude is a feeling or emotion toward a fact or state. It has been said that attitude is everything. Ever been in a really bad mood and it affected your attitude? Where you have said and done things you shouldn't have because something got on your nerves? I don't know about you but I know I have. You are not always in control of what happens to you, but you are always in control of how you respond. Your attitude is the only thing you get to control 100% of the time. The Bible uses the word mind to describe your attitude more often than it uses the actual word attitude. However, what you think about leads to actions and those actions lead to habits. Your habits develop your character and your character develops your future. It all starts with your attitude and your mind. What does the Bible say about your attitude? In Matthew 22:37, Jesus says that if we truly love God with all our hearts, our souls and minds, we will naturally keep the commandments. Lets not forget, caring for our neighbor (the way we talk to them, the way we treat them in general) is just as important as any commandment! Rather than worrying about all we should not do, we should concentrate on all we can do to show our love for God and others. Please let that sink in...
Matthew 22:37 - "Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."
